Open memorial day
The VIA building, built in 1921 with a castle-like façade with pavilions and central risalit according to plans by the architect Gottlieb Bernhard from Sankt Goar, embodies VIA's building philosophy.
The combination of tradition and innovation, the love of history and a look ahead form the heart of VIA.
We look into the past and the traditional heritage of the cement mosaic tiles with their fascinating patterns and carry them into the present in new colours and modern contexts.
The special mineral touch, which characterises both the slabs and the chalk colour, turns the floor, walls and ceiling into spaces that have what it takes to become monuments.
It awaits you:
- Guided tours through the building and exhibition
- Coffee and cake in the works canteen
Be welcome from 10 - 17 o'clock!
